Albedo A.
One step further in EU medicine lobster quadrille
Pharmaceutical Technology Europe 2003; 15:(11):12-17

Abstract:

The EU is set to embrace new member states next year, but is currently engaged in a merry dance to that all too familiar tune of generics versus new medicines. True to its bureaucratic reputation, the EU is happy to listen to both sides of the argument, and then remain firmly on the fence until it makes a decision some time in the not-too-near future. The question is, will it listen to the pharmaceutical industry or will it take the unusual step of listening to the people?
