Abstract:
A lawsuit filed by the Pharmaceutical Manufacturer’s Association (PhRMA) against the states of Michigan, Florida, Maine, and Vermont to stop them from requiring drug manufacturers to negotiate prices on prescription drugs for low-income patients receiving Medicare is summarized, and the circumstances that have led to the suit are discussed.
