Advertised prescription drugs are the hot sellers
Drug Benefit Trends 2002; 14:(4):4

Abstract:

This article examines the factors that contributed to the increased sales of the 50 drugs most heavily advertised to consumers in 2000, due primarily to an increase in the number of prescriptions rather than a rise in drugs prices and discusses the promotional spending on prescription drugs by some leading pharmaceutical companies.
