Abstract:

AMA recognizes physician prescribing data concerns
The AMA recognizes that the inappropriate use of prescribing data is a growing concern among physicians. In response, the AMA developed the Physician Data Restriction Program (PDRP) to address physicians’ concerns about inappropriate use of prescribing information by pharmaceutical sales representatives, while ensuring these data remain available for evidence-based medicine and research.
