Abstract:

The guidelines from the College of Family Physicians of Canada makes it difficult to run continuing medical education events in isolated rural areas. The guidelines make it difficult to offer doctors in these areas meals that are financed by pharmaceutical companies. It is during these meals that much discussion takes place.
