Abstract:

The International Council of Nurses (ICN) takes the global problem of counterfeit medicines very seriously. Its anti-counterfeiting campaign, launched on International Nurses Day (12 May) in 2005, aims to raise awareness of this problem among nurses and other health professionals and eventually the public.
