EDITOR Deb Richards did a wonderful job of summarising my 20 years of campaigning into a single article (‘The mouse that roared’, Focus, August).

However, my mother’s joke about the church that gave me the values behind my work with Healthy Skepticism was edited to a different meaning. My mum actually describes Congregationalism as “the perfect system for perfect people, which is why it never worked!”
