Abstract:
Broadcast advertisements directed at consumers in the Philippines are deceptive. Drug companies have large budgets for promotions directed at doctors. The ultimate goal is to win and ensure the physician’s loyalty to the medicines. The cost of doing this is passed on to the consumer.
