Abstract:

This article is strongly critical of the federal Food and Drug Administration, the agency charged with ensuring the safety, efficacy and proper labelling of prescription drugs. The author accuses FDA of negligent action and inaction which benefits the pharmaceutical industry at the expense of an unsuspecting public.
