Shouldn’t we all be questioning the increasing involvement of pharmaceutical companies in GP education?
Education provided by drug companies has a very real presence in CME.
Given that this invariably skews education towards the topics favoured by the companies paying for it, shouldn’t the RACGP seriously examine the risks and benefits of sanctioning this type of education?
The college has a moral duty to ensure GP education is as independent as possible.
