Abstract:

Cooperative direct mail advertising to specifically targeted local neighborhoods by independent pharmacies is discussed; these programs contain numerous special coupon offers from many local businesses with the cost of each mailing shared by all participants in selected nearby neighborhoods and can advertise such benefits as free prescription delivery and other inducements to increase traffic in a pharmacy.
