Program for patient packs by 1999 unveiled

Abstract:

An English program in which patients will receive prescribed medicines in a complete manufacturer’s pack with detailed patient information that is supported by manufacturers, physicians, and pharmacists is announced; the program will begin with the conversion of antivirals in December 1995 and be completed with products containing acetaminophen (paracetamol), systemic hormones, and other unclassified products in September 1998.
