Abstract:
The false and misleading claims for famotidine (Pepcid AC Acid Controller) and cimetidine (Tagamet HB) regarding recommendations, efficacy, duration and onset of action, drug interactions, number of prescriptions sold, and toxicity are discussed and the law pertaining to false claims, and the decisions of the judge in the suit raised by both manufacturers are outlined.
