Drug Topics 1996 Mar; 140:25s

Abstract:

Efforts by some brand-name and drug technology companies to have state pharmacy laws rewritten to define drug delivery systems and limit drug substitutions on that basis are described, including efforts to introduce legislation in various states, the impact of these laws in states where they have been adopted on prescribing and pharmacist behavior, and the impact of these laws on generic drug companies.
