Abstract:

Unresolved Medicaid rebate issues between the U.S. government and pharmaceutical industry such as access to prescription level data, updated technology, larger staffs, standardization, and new guidelines are described and suggestions for improving rebate procedures through efficient state systems and programs to facilitate dispute resolution are presented.
