Abstract:
Changes in European Community pharmaceutical restrictions on distribution, including classification of medicines, allowance for pharmacy-only category, rules on ownership of pharmacies, advertising restrictions, distance selling of prescription and non-prescription medicines, shopping through television, mail order pharmacy, and the use of the Internet in distance selling, are described.
