Abstract:

In January 1994, the Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association of Canada launced a national campaign aimed at the general public, and especially people over 50, entitled “Knowledge is the best medicine.” The aim of the campaign is to promote the appropriate use of medicines. The campaign featured an information kit, a television ad, a toll free number and a medication record.
