The pharmaceutical industry under attack.
J Am Coll Cardiol 1994 Oct; 24:(4):1143-4
Abstract:
The pharmaceutical industry has come under attack in a number of areas: cost of medications, profits, false advertising and influence on physicians. It appears to the author that some of this criticism has been too harsh. He believes that doctors are better served by maintaining a healthy and appropriate relationship with the pharmaceutical industry. Many educational activities, such as annual meetings, require that continued support.
