Abstract:

The concern of the College of Family Physicians of Canada is when pharmaceutical companies control the content of continuing medical education. The College supports the guidelines of the Canadian Medical Association and the Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association of Canada both of which stipulate that the responsibility for program content and choice of speakers should rest with the physician CME program organizers.
