Publication of sponsored symposiums in medical journals.

Abstract:

Audiences in some fields have come to expect that a symposium will be free, that a free meal will be provided and perhaps also travel expenses. It is very difficult for neutral organizers to afford the cost of running symposiums and therefore the field is left open to pharmaceutical companies.
