Abstract:

The National Consumer Council wants the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry to institute tighter sanctions for violations of the Code of Practice. The NCC is also concerned about the trend for advertisements to contain cost-effectiveness claims. It also wants press access to the Prescription Medicines Code of Practice Authority.
