Abstract:
A study in the Annals of Internal Medicine found a high proportion of drug advertisements that appeared to violate existing Food and Drug Administration regulations. The policies of the Annals of Internal Medicine regarding journal advertising are discussed. The Canadian Pharmaceutical Advertising Advisory Board may be a model for the U.S. to follow
