The potential value of unfavorable information
Medical Marketing & Media 1980; 15:(5):42-44, 46
Abstract:
Pharmacy students read one of four hypothetical presentations by a sales representative. The presentations were identical except that one of the four did not contain any warning information in the conclusion. The results support the prediction that unfavourable information can lead to a more favourable evaluation of the presenteron the dimension of honesty compared to the condition where only favourable information is presented.
