Talwin addiction cause for lawsuit
Missouri Pharmacist 1990 Dec; 64:14-15
Abstract:
A case based on a lawsuit by a plaintiff who became addicted to pentazocine hydrochloride (Talwin) and sued the drug manufacturer and the pharmacy at which she allegedly obtained illegal refills of her prescription is described. Due to an error by the trial court in refusing to charge the jury on the issue of superceding causes, the case has been remanded for new trial.
