Who gains, who loses from a European formulary?
Pharmaceutical Executive 1991 Aug; 11:26, 28-29

Abstract:

The view that a group of European doctors and pharmacists compiling a common formulary for use in general practice has sinister applications for the pharmaceutical industry is presented. The aims of the formulary, problems such as outdatedness, inappropriate prescribing, liability and hindrance of future innovations are included. The importance of lobbying by professional, trade, industry, and government bodies, as well as the general public, against such a formulary is also discussed.
