Abstract:

A pharmacist salary survey was distributed to all members of the North Carolina Pharmaceutical Association in June of 1996 assessing years of practice, weekly hours, salary levels, benefits, years since last raise, support personnel, average number of prescriptions each week, and regular lunch breaks according to chain, independent, hospital, academic, industry, consultant, public health, and health maintenance organization practice settings. Ten percent of the membership responded and the results are presented in tabular form.
