Sandoz claims that for suppressing lactation “Parlodel is still the most extensively studied, the most effective and the one with the most favourable ratio of benefit to risk”
MaLAM International News 1995 Jan; 13:(1):1-2

Abstract:

Sandoz has withdrawn the indication of postpartum lactation suppression in Canada and the United States but continues to market the drug for this indication in the rest of the world. The company justifies its decision by claiming that a causal relationship with adverse effects has never been proven.
