JAMA 1994 Oct 26; 272:(16):1253-4
Abstract:
Some pharmaceutical companies may offer assistance in searching literature and writing a draft of a review article either directly or through a contracted service. It is expected that the pharmaceutical company would review the article prior to its submission. Receipt of honoraria for writing review articles is rarely disclosed.
