Abstract:

This article discusses the appropriateness of the policy on the relationship between the California Society of Hospital Pharmacists and the healthcare industry. The article focuses on the consensus view about advertising and promotion, the role of advertising, how prices are set by the healthcare industry and the ethical problems that occur at the intersection of advertising practices and healthcare practice.
