Doctors want more industry-sponsored meetings
Medical Marketing & Media 1993; 28:(3):48-50, 52-53
Abstract:
Medical journal articles are the physician’s source of choice for useful information about drugs. But company-sponsored group meetings are where most changes are occurring. Doctors want more of these meetings despite the restrictions imposed by guidelines from the American Medical Association and proposed guidelines from the Food and Drug Administration.
