Abstract:

Medical newsletters that are funded by the pharmaceutical industry may not present a balanced view of the evidence. These newsletters should have to state all sources of funding; speakers featured in the newsletter should have to disclose any possible conflicts of interest; and references to the peer reviewed literature should be provided.
